Genealogy Workshop

The Dewalt Mechlin Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution and the Ridge Historical Society will host a free genealogy workshop.  A team of volunteer DAR genealogists will be available to assist prospective members and also members of the community who have questions about their family history research and genealogy questions. For those who have hit a brick wall maybe we can assist you. The workshop will be held on Saturday Nov 2nd from 10 to 2 at the Ridge Historical Society at 10621 S. Seely Ave, Chicago.  There is no charge for the workshop. So we have an idea of the number attending, please register for the event by contacting Susan Smith at 773/791-9747 or sisty2@comcast.net.
