Luckily, the Beverly Area Planning Association works to encourage residents to shop locally and support their neighborhood businesses. Local retailers would surely appreciate the chance to help you check off your shopping lists. From gist certificates to area restaurants to unique gifts that can only be found at a neighborhood boutique, the local approach might be the way to go. Check out business listings on the Oak Lawn, Beverly-Mt. Greenwood and Evergreen Park Patch sites to get the ideas flowing. Maybe the big box stores are your thing?
