The Young Dubliners Concert
The Young Dubliners bring their hybrid of rock/Celtic rock to the Beverly Arts Center, 2407 W. 111th St., Chicago. The concert starts at 8.m. and tickets are $16 ($14 for BAC members).  The band has appeared on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live! twice, had songs featured in TV’s “Sons of Anarchy” and headlined for such eclectic performers as  The Flaming Lips, Collective Soul, Jethro Tull, Johnny Lang and many more. Sunset Boulevard

The Oak Lawn Park District Community Theatre hits the boards this weekend in the musical Sunset Boulevard, at the Oak View Center, 4625 W. 110th St. in Oak Lawn. Based on the classic 1950 film, faded silent movie star Norma Desmond finds herself tossed aside by Tinsel Town in the advent of talkies. She sees her chance to make a big silver screen comeback when she meets a struggling Hollywood screenwriter. Their passionate and volatile relationship leads to an unforeseen and tragic conclusion. 8 p.m. Nov. 15 Nov. 16, Nov. 22 and Nov. 23.; 3 p.m. Nov. 17 and Nov. 24. Farmers Market
Olivia's Garden, an indoor heated greenhouse at Olivia's Garden is an indoor heated greenhouse located here, at 10730 S. Western, will host a farmers market from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be free crafts and face painting for the kids. Available for purchase are soaps, scrubs, bows, jewelry, produce, fresh juice and plenty more.
 
Coffee & Conversation With Your Legislators
State Sen. Bill Cunningham (18th) and State Rep. Fran Hurley (35th) will be hosting a coffee and conversation event where you can stop by and share your thoughts on local legislative issues. The event is from 10 a.m. to noon at Sweet Freaks, 9915 S. Walden Parkway. 

Family Archery and Outdoor Exploration Day
The Dan Ryan Woods will host an archery and outdoor exploration day for kids and adults with instruction provided. The fun takes place at 1 p.m. at Grove 5. Call 708-771-1010 for registration and questions.

Turkey Bowl 2013
The women's flag football tournament that contributes each year to a different local charitable cause. Cost to register is $30 and you can do so on the day of. The tournament starts at 11 a.m. at St. Christina Fields, 11140 S Central Park Ave.

Sunday, Nov. 17

Toy Drive for Advocate Children’s Hospital

The Queen of Martyrs fifth and sixth grade Girl Scouts are collecting toys new toys and books for hospitalized children at Advocate Children’s Hospital in Oak Lawn. The scouts will be accepting donations after Sunday Masses on Nov. 17 and Nov. 24, which can be dropped off in the vestibule or St. Joseph room at the church at 3550 W. 103rd Ave., Evergreen Park. The hospital can only accept new toys and books. Please, no stuffed animals. Additional information regarding Wish Lists or Guidelines can be found on the Hospital's website or by calling Child Life Services at 708-684-4142.

Sunday With Friends Concert: Polka Party

You don’t have to be Polish to enjoy the Oak Lawn Library’s Sunday Polka Party with Eddie Korosa, Jr. and the Boys from Illinoiz.  Eddie and the gang have been gigging since 1976 and will play a rousing set of polka and favorite standards ranging from Big Band Waltzes to a country and rock ‘n roll. 2 p.m. Free. Sponsored by the Friends of the Oak Lawn Library, 9427 S. Raymond Ave., Oak Lawn.
