Marist and Morgan Park Basketball Players Finalists For McDonald's All American Games

Jetaun Rouse and Billy Garret might get the chance to play at the United Center in front of a national audience.

McDonald’s has announced its list of high school seniors who have been nominated to play in the 2013 McDonald’s All AmericanGames, taking place on April 3 at Chicago’s United Center.

Jetaun Rouse of Marist High School and Billy Garrett of Morgan Park High School were announced as nominated players.

The list includes two local basketball players and 16 Illinois high school seniors who become eligible to make the final roster of 24 boys and 24 girls who will be selected to play in the 2013 Games.

The final team will be announced during the McDonald’s All American Games Selection Show on ESPNU on February 14 at 4 p.m.

Players were nominated by high school coaches, athletic directors, principals and members of the McDonald’s All American Games Selection Committee. Selected Illinois players include.
