Record Store Day April 19th - Go!!
This Saturday, April 19th, get your tote bag ready and hit the nearest ATM for cash, it’s Record Store Day and you need to be ready to visit your favorite record store! Yes, they do still exist! Early that morning, there will be a line down the block to your favorite record store as limited edition vinyl of your favorite bands will be available to purchase.
To see what will be released that day, go to www.recordstoreday.com for the handy PDF file and print it out. Bring it with you so you know what is being released. Keep in mind, not every store will have every release. The tricky part about Record Store Day, the stores usually don’t know what merchandise will be sent to them until they receive their delivery a day or two before the 19th. The stores are not allowed to reveal what they have in stock until the 19th so no need to call ahead and ask.
Here are some items on the list: The Animals EP 10” vinyl, Eric Church – The Outsiders 12” vinyl, The Flaming Lips – 7 Skies H3 12” vinyl, Husker Du – Candy Apple Grey 12” vinyl, Opeth – Watershed 12” vinyl, Jimmy Page & The Black Crowes – Live At The Greek 12” vinyl, just to name a few items.
