It will be the night of familiar Chicago faces at the Democratic National Convention Tuesday.
This evening's schedule of speakers has been revealed and some familiar faces will be addressing the assembled delegates in North Carolina.
Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel is scheduled to speak just after 8 p.m. Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn is also on the schedule and was handed a slot around 6:30 p.m.
Emanuel has decided to cut his convention stay short as an impending Chicago Teachers Union strike looms, the Sun-Times reports.
The main attraction tonight is First Lady Michelle Obama whose address will take place sometime after 9 p.m. and will be broadcast on the major networks.
The Chicago Tribune reports that the Illinois delegation was given some prime seats at the convention. They will be seated front and center in the arena.
