19th Ward Ranks Third in Chicago Early Voting Turnout

The early voting site at Mount Greenwood Park has seen the most ballots cast of any place in the city.

Residents of the 19th Ward seem to be taking advantage of early voting in a big way.

Counting vote totals through Oct. 31, the early voting site at Mount Greenwood Park has seen 5,379 total ballots cast, according to the Chicago Board of Elections.

That is the third highest total for any site in the city. Only the 34th Ward in Roseland and the 4th Ward which includes Bronzeville, Kenwood and Hyde Park ranks higher. A total of 5,721 and 5,723 ballots were cast in those neighborhoods respectively.
