This week's crime data shows a decrease in the number of burglaries taking place within the last week. At the end of October, one week saw 11 burglaries. This week that number falls to just five.
There were however five motor vehicle thefts reported within the seven day period.

I wanted to know if anyone else has noticed the 2 or 3 guys who hang out at 111th and Kedzie Walgreens and badger people for money. I was waiting for some one and they approached a minimum of 6 people, the majority of those approached were senior citizens. I often am there or at DD or walking by. They go in and buy beer and are usually drunk or on their way. Is this what this was built for? Can their be anything done about this?
