He then entered a residence on the 10100 block of S. Green where he tried to assault an 11-year-old girl, but was scared away, police said. Rush then sexually assaulted a 14-year-old girl in the 10000 block of Peoria as she was walking to the bus stop on her way to school, police said. He took the girl to a nearby yard where the assault occurred.

Rush was located in Indiana and was extradited to Illinois. He has been charged with three counts of aggravated criminal sexual assault with a weapon and criminal trespass to a residence. He is scheduled to appear in Central Bond Court on Saturday.
