Dancing, Drinks and Winter Fun at Snowflake Ball on Jan. 25

Dancing, dinner, drinks and live music are in store for BAPA's Snowflake Ball scheduled for Jan. 25.

When the Beverly Area Planning Association (BAPA) brought back the Snowflake Ball last winter, a whole new generation of party-goers joined longtime Snowflake Ball revelers to celebrate the spirit of community.

The original Snowflake Ball was hosted by BAPA from the mid-1970s through early 2000s, and designed to encourage neighbors to brave the winter and enjoy an evening of music, dancing and partying with friends. The event was reenergized last year by a group of young neighbors who remember their parents attending the old Snowflake Ball, and who want their turn to experience the excitement and fun of that popular event.

“Hosting the return of the Snowflake Ball was terrific,” said Matt Walsh, BAPA Executive Director. “Throughout the evening, people talked about how much fun it was to come out of hibernation and see all their friends, hear some great music and dance, enjoy a really fun ‘date night,’ and just have a ball. Certainly, last year’s success is adding to this year’s excitement!”
