Fast Facts: Marian Catholic is off to a fast start thanks to a deep and talented roster of players. A trio of seniors, Isaac (Valparaiso), Ransom (Davidson) and Walsh (Truman State) are already committed to college. Millender is starting to collect many offers as a junior. Page has already gotten looks from the likes of DePaul and Michigan State, despite only being a sophomore. Bradley is contributing in her first high school season after suffering tears to both of her ACLs already. Marist features a pair of major Division I players in Bolton and Rouse. Bolton is averaging 15 points per game and is committed to Marquette, while Rouse is averaging 20 points per game and headed to Illinois. Three of Marist’s losses came to nationally-ranked teams in Florida over the holiday break. The others came in overtime to Fenwick in ESCC play and Mother McAuley. Senior guard Clare Ryan is hoping to return from a torn ACL next week, which would further bolster the RedHawks for a deep postseason run.

Quotable: “We are really turning the corner as a team at this point in the season,” Marian Catholic coach Annie Byrne said. “We have been fortunate enough to play great competition and it has helped us mature and come together as a team. This is a very talented group of young ladies that carry themselves with class both on and off the court. I am so proud of this team and all the hard work they put in every day.”
