Waldo Cooney's Pizza Meets BAC Challenge

A favorite Beverly/Morgan Park pizza restaurant since 1981, Waldo Cooney’s, 2410 W. 111th St., hosted a BAC Challenge fund raiser, designating 15% of its sales on January 1 to the fund raising campaign. Owner Gary Cooney (second from left) recently presented a donation of $575 from the event to the Beverly Arts Center.  . According to Cooney as the BAC’s across-the-street neighbor, his business felt it only fitting to support the local arts center.
