The TCF Bank branches at two nearby Jewel-Osco stores will be amongst the 37 branches closing by the end of March.
According to Crain's Chicago Business, the branches are closing as part of the bank's consolidation efforts tied to the growth of online banking options. TCF bank branches will still remain open in 118 other Jewel grocery stores.
Closing their branches will be the Jewel stores at 3128 W. 103rd St. and 4650 W. 103rd St.
While TCF may be closing some Jewel locations, it plans to add 52 ATM machines to CTA stations across the city, according to the report.
