9-1-1 Dispatchers
Southwest Central Dispatch is accepting applications for full- and part-time 911 telecommunicators. Responsibilities include answering emergency calls, dispatching emergency services and basic data entry. The full-time starting salary ranges from $41,263 to $47,480, depending on qualifications experience plus a liberal employee benefits program. Part-time hourly rates are $15.95 up to $19.06. Applicants are required to take written tests and must pass a psychological and physical evaluation, and drug test. See the attached pdf for info on applying.

The Illinois Office of the Executive Inspector General has an opening for a court reporter in its Chicago office. The job pays $2,500 to $5,000 per month. The position includes a variety of highly responsible professional and administrative duties, isuch as recording and transcribing investigative interviews as required; answering the telephone, preparing correspondence, copying and distributing documents; drafting a variety of documents; and providing general office assistance such as file and record maintenance. This position involves working with information of an extremely sensitive and confidential nature associated with investigations and legal proceedings.
