BAC Announces Art Show Finalists

The Beverly Arts Center announced the finalists in their 36th Annual Juried Art Show.

Finalists in the Beverly Art Center’s 36th Annual Juried Exhibition have been selected by judges Bernard Williams and Larry Lee and winners will be announced at the opening reception Fri., Nov. 9, 7 to 9 p.m. Open to artists living and working within 100 miles of Chicago, 112 artists submitted works to the competition, which offers $5000 in cash awards.

Milosevich (Crest Hill), Bridget Mitchell (Oak Lawn), Jessica Myers (Chicago-60647), Eric Ohrn (Joliet), Nate Otto (Chicago-60647), Jacob Saunders (Chicago-60647), Jordan Scott (Evanston), Shelby Silvernell (Chicago-60647), Andrew Wieczorek (Chicago-60643), Everett C. Sponsored by Beverly Bank & Trust, prizes range from the $1,500 Best ofShow to $100 for honorable mention. Prizes are awarded in eight categories including figurative, non-representational, three-dimensional and photographic awards. Works by winners and finalists will be on exhibit Nov. 9 through Jan. 2, 2013 at the Beverly Arts Center, 2407 W. 111th St., Chicago.
