Free Activities at the Beverly Arts Center March 23

Get In, Get Art, the Beverly Arts Center’s popular monthly activity series, hosts Beverly Arts Center invites area residents to "Get Local" on Sun., Mar. 23, 2 to 4 p.m. 

Showcasing art and culture from Chicago, Get Local offers free activities for all ages and is held at the Center, 2407 W. 111th St., Chicago. Projects will be inspired by local and city history, as well as the artists, musicians, writers and performers who have made Chicago a center for the arts.

Activities range from make-and-take arts projects for young children, through workshop style art lessons for adults. Get Local will also offer some Chicago style food tastings and entertainment.Get In, Get Art is open to all area families, and provides an opportunity to sample the quality and creativity of arts programming offered at the Beverly Arts Center, Chicago’s not-for-profit multi-discipline, multi-cultural facility for fine arts education and programming. For more information, visit www.beverlyartcenter.org or call 773-445-3838.
