Apply Now to March in the Memorial Day Parade

The Beverly Hills/Morgan Park Memorial Day Parade is now accepting applications.

The Beverly Hills/Morgan Park Memorial Day Parade, one of Chicago’s oldest neighborhood parades, is coming up on Monday, May 27, and the parade committee is encouraging families, clubs, businesses, institutions and churches to participate in the march down historic Longwood Drive.

The parade follows the 36th Annual Ridge Run and culminates with a Memorial Day ceremony and flag raising in Ridge Park, honoring all those who have served in the U.S. armed forces. The service is planned by the office of  19th Ward Ald. Matt O’Shea.

Organized by the Beverly Area Planning Association and volunteers, the parade begins about 10:30 a.m. and travels snakes north down Longwood Drive from 110th street to Ridge Park at 97th street.
