U.S. Rep. Dan Lipinski (IL-3) is reminding local seniors and their families that he will be hosting a Senior Fair at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 16, at Chicago’s Mount Greenwood Park, 3721 W. 111th St. At the Senior Fair, seniors will have the opportunity to get help from the congressman’s staff with Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, veterans’ benefits, the Postal Service, utility bills and other issues. Local organizations and agencies also offer assistance. Seniors can meet with businesses that provide services such as retirement living and offer special discounts for seniors.
