If you have boxes of old papers just sitting around, this might be the weekend to do something about it.
State Sen. Bill Cunningham and State Rep. Fran Hurley are sponsoring a paper shredding and recycling event this Saturday, Oct. 19, at Worth Township, 11601 S. Pulaski Road.
Running from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. the event offers you the chance to get all those private and confidential documents shredded and recycled on the spot free of charge.
