Get Ice Cream at McKiernan Park Wednesday Afternoon
Tips about what's going on in town today.
If you are looking for a little afternoon snack it might be a good idea to grab the kiddies and head out over to McKiernan Park Wednesday afternoon.
The park, located at 10714 S. Sawyer Ave., will play host to an ice cream social sponsored by the Mount Greenwood Community and Business Associations and the trio of Ald. Matt O'Shea, State Sen. Bill Cunningham and State Rep. Fran Hurley.
The ice cream is being provided by 115 Bourbon Street. A $1 donation is requested. Also planned is free music and games for the kids. The ice cream social will last from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
