Who Made a Difference in 2012? Nominate the 19th Ward's Person of the Year

Is there a person you know who has made Beverly, Mt. Greenwood and Morgan Park a better place thanks to his or her actions this year? Tell us by nominating that person.

Here at Patch we like to honor those local residents who make a difference in the lives of their fellow neighbors.

We need help deciding who deserves to be Beverly-Mt. Greenwood Patch's Person of the Year for 2012.

If you know someone who made your neighborhood a better place in the past year, contributed time and energy to various causes or even made a smaller impact that's still important, nominate him or her. Now's the time to shine a spotlight on a person who doesn't draw the attention they so richly deserve.

Fill out the form on this page by 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21. The nominees will be listed, and readers will vote for a winner, who will be featured with a story on Beverly-Mt. Greenwood Patch.
