Rainbow Cone Named Best Ice Cream By Magazine
The Beverly institution was was named the best ice cream shop in the city by Time Out Chicago Kids in their annual "Hipsqueak Awards."
In what must be another notch on a very long belt, the Original Rainbow Cone was named best ice cream shop in Chicago by a parenting magazine.
Time Out Chicago Kids bestowed the honor to the Beverly institution as part of their "Hipsqueak Awards." The magazine described the shop's iconic rainbow cone as the main attraction.
Luck for us, we don't consider it as part of an "out-of-the-way stretch of Western Avenue."
