Caption This! Share Your Funny Pet Photos with Patch
Share your pet photos with Patch, and we'll invite readers to test their wit with a caption for your photo. The winning caption will be emblazoned on a proof of your pet's picture.
If only our pets could talk. They seem to take on personalities of their own—the cheeky chihuahua, grumpy pit bull or goofy cat.
Some pet owners can't help but whip out their smart phone or camera to capture their colorful pets in a moment of hilarity. Owners might even put words in their pets' mouths, reading their mutt's mind for their own amusement.
Patch wants in on the fun. We're inviting readers to share their amusing pet photos for readers to test their sense of humor. Each week, we'll select one photo from the gallery and ask readers to suggest a caption. Patch editors will choose the best one, and the pet owner and the caption writer will each receive a personalized, Patch-branded version for their enjoyment.
Just click the giant "Upload photos and videos" button, select your favorite photo and you're all set!
A few basic rules apply:
- Any animal will do. Dogs, cats, horses, lizards, birds, guinea pigs—you name it, we'll take it.
- Limit of 4 photos per person (or family), per month.
- Submission is ongoing. Post your photos whenever you have them; the more photos, the better!

What happened to the dog festival on saturday? They usually have it in the park...only to find out they moved it over by the bank.....I really wanted to hear Small Time Dave

I reject the "snobby cat" suggestion. My cat is shy, yes, but there's nothing snobby about her. She doesn't demand name brand jeans and even uses hand-me-down toys.

Apologies, Denise! Perhaps "aloof" would be a better adjective for some cats?
(P.S. I definitely have a snobby cat.)

I have 2 cats and they are very lovey-dovey most of the time. They even respond to their names when I call them! They love to play with shoe laces and LOVE to be petted.

"Morris" the beagle is one smart canine! The fan reproduces the wind like riding in a car with your head outside the door. And we all know how much dogs like riding in a car with the wind in their face.

Hmm ... there should be a button both above the picture and below it in the text of the article. If you can't find either of those upload buttons, you can email me your photo at cari.brokamp@patch.com.

Look in the upper left hand corner of any picture for this article. There is a large ( about 1/2 inc by 2 inch) box that has a small camera picture and the words "Upload Photos and Videos" in green letters.

There's no button on the mobile site. I had to use my netbook.

Could it be a file size issue?
